BLOTTER ON DEATH THREAT, MISSING KIDS, TORTURE

By BERTENI "TOTO" CATALUÑA CAUSING

I am posting these events as blotters on my blog for the purpose of recording and documenting the incidents.

This is also done in the hope of discouraging people from harming my oppressed clients who are all belonging to the urban poor families.

As a measure of diligence because I am their legal counsel, I publish this for all the world to know that in case the unwanted happens there would be leads to work on.

FIRST BLOTTER: DEATH THREATS
Rowena Quidilla, president of Samahan ng Magkakapitbahay Sa Banana Island Inc., has been getting death threats from the other group of informal settlers of the lot located on Manggahan Avenue, Sampaloc, Manila.

Quidilla got extreme hatred from the other group because her group decided to voluntarily demolish their homes after they were defeated in a court case by the Tuazon family, a landed clan in Sampaloc, Manila, whose ownership over large lands is bewildering how it came to being.

SECOND BLOTTER:  MISSING TWO KIDS NAMED ALJUN LACUNGAN & JOHN LLOYD CLEMENTE
These children of Raquel Lacungan and Roosevelt Clemente have been missing since 4:00 pm of August 31, 2012.  The disappearance has been feared to be the work of the other group stated above as making good of the threat to avenge over Rowena group's decision to give in.

THIRD BLOTTER:  BARANGAY CHAIRMAN OF BRGY. SILANGAN, SAN MATEO, RIZAL
On August 23, 2012, six families mostly seniors of the group of Rowena tried to move ahead to the new home site for their members.

The supposed new homes are to be located inside the parcel of land owned by Holy Family (Libis) Credit Cooperative Inc. after the group agreed to embrace the displaced families of Rowena's group by assigning to them vacant lots inside the same land.

The said land is titled in the name of Holy Family following its Community Mortgage Program it executed with Pag-Ibig.

But when the six seniors' family started to build their temporary homes, Rowena said they were physically and violently driven away by Barangay Chairman Eugenio Morcilla with the aid of heartless policemen.  As this is written, it was raining hard and the driven-away families have rains soaking their bodies all over.
